The latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3, which aired recently on Netflix, brought together popular celebrities Shilpa Shetty, Shamita Shetty, Huma Qureshi, and Saqib Saleem, delivering a blend of entertainment, sibling banter, and light-hearted moments. Hosted by Kapil Sharma, the show has maintained its charm as a favorite weekend watch for Indian audiences.

In the episode, Kapil Sharma began by highlighting the special bond shared between siblings, tying it to the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The guest lineup featured sibling pairs Huma Qureshi with Saqib Saleem, and Shilpa Shetty with Shamita Shetty.
Shilpa’s Matchmaking Mission for Shamita

One of the segments showed Shilpa Shetty’s open declaration of her efforts to find a suitable partner for her sister Shamita. Shilpa candidly shared how she boldly asks potential suitors about their marital status, only to clarify she is inquiring for her younger sister. She admitted to quickly getting impressed by eligible bachelors, which made the conversation all the more amusing.

Kapil Sharma then inquired if their parents still pressured Shamita to get married, to which Shamita responded that phase is over, and she no longer feels such expectations. She emphasized how challenging it is to find true love in the present times, preferring to remain single rather than settle hastily.

Dating Apps and New Proposals

Further, Shilpa suggested Shamita try dating apps to expand her chances of finding the right match. Kapil Sharma also mentioned Huma Qureshi’s involvement with a dating app, recommending Shamita give it a shot.

In an unexpected twist, a fan named Prachi surprised everyone by proposing to Saqib Saleem with a heartfelt shayari during the episode. Prachi’s mention of having a younger brother caught Shilpa’s attention immediately, who then playfully inquired about his age, hinting at potential matches yet again. Saqib joked that the episode was turning into a Raksha Bandhan or matrimony special, which elicited laughter from the audience.

The episode featured regular appearances by Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, and Kiku Sharda, who added to the comic elements with their signature styles. The season also welcomed the return of Navjot Singh Sidhu, joining Archana Puran Singh as a permanent guest, enriching the show's panel.
