Television actor Nitin Chauhaan, renowned for his victory on the reality show Dadagiri 2, passed away in Mumbai on Thursday at age 35. Co-stars from his recent show Tera Yaar Hoon Main, Sudeep Sahir and Vibhuti Thakur, confirmed the news but had limited details, according to India Today. His father is reported to have traveled to Mumbai to arrange for his son's last rites.
Hailing from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, Nitin gained popularity after his Dadagiri 2 win and went on to feature in various well-known TV shows. His appearances included MTV’s Splitsvilla 5 and roles in episodic series like Zindagi Dot Com, Crime Patrol, and Friends. He was last seen in Tera Yaar Hoon Main in 2022.
Nitin’s untimely passing has left his colleagues and fans in shock.
Paying tribute, Sudeep Sahir shared a heartfelt message on his Instagram story, writing, “Rest in peace, buddy.”
Actress Vibhuti Thakur also expressed her sorrow, posting a picture with Nitin and sharing, “'Rest in peace my dear. really shocked and sad..wish u had the strength to face all the troubles...wish you were mentally strong like your body".
