Rishabh Pant's bat suffered a lean patch again in IPL 2025, and he was again unable to perform against Mumbai. As the captain of the Lucknow Super Giants this season, Pant was caught for a mere 4 runs in today's game, and the added pressure mounts on his shoulders. His timing and shot-selection issues were also apparent to the naked eye, and supporters were swift in lashing out in disappointment on social media. With Lucknow relying so much on their skipper's performance, Pant's repeated failures have now become a serious issue for the team in the future.
