A fake notification is becoming increasingly viral on social media, claiming that the NEET PG 2025 exam has been postponed till August 17. But the government has termed this notice as fake. The Fact Check Unit has appealed to the students to rely only on the natboard.edu.in website for official information.
Actually, this confusion started spreading when a fake letter went viral on social media, stating that the date of NEET PG 2025 has been extended to August 17. But the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has clarified that no such official notification has been issued.
The exam will be held in CBT mode on June 15
According to the official information released by NBEMS, the NEET PG 2025 exam will be conducted on June 15, 2025 itself. This exam will be taken in two shifts in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Earlier, NBEMS had also informed that the detailed information bulletin of the exam will be uploaded on the official website of the board soon.
What is NEET PG?
NEET PG is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission to MD, MS and PG Diploma courses in medical colleges across the country. Through this exam, thousands of students compete for postgraduate medical seats.
Appeal to students
NBEMS has advised the students not to trust any notification going viral on social media. All official announcements related to the exam will be made available only on the website natboard.edu.in.
