Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has issued a recruitment for the vacant posts of Scientist-B. Applications for this vacancy have started on 3rd May. Candidates can fill the form by 23rd May. A total of 20 posts will be filled through this recruitment. According to the discipline, 2 posts are reserved for Chemistry, 8 for Civil Engineering, 4 for Computer Engineering, 2 for Electrical Engineering, 2 for Electronics and Telecommunications, and 2 for Environmental Engineering.
This is the educational qualification and age limit.
The candidate should have a scorecard for GATE 2023, 2024, and 2025. Along with this, one must have obtained an engineering degree in the relevant field. On applying for the Chemistry discipline, candidates must have a master's degree in Natural Science (Chemistry). Talking about the age limit, it is a maximum of 30 years. SC and ST will get 5 years' relaxation, and OBC will get 3 years' relaxation.

Candidates will be selected based on shortlisting, personal interview, and a merit list based on GATE score. After selection, a salary of Rs 1,14,945 per month will be given. Along with this, the benefit of other allowances will also be available.
