Union J star Josh Cuthbert paid an emotional tribute to his bandmate's fiance on the day of his funeral.

The musician shared a heartbreaking message on his Instagram Stories as he said "RIP Olly". Oliver Marmon, 33, was engaged to Josh's bandmate, Jaymi Hensley. Oliver died after falling from a third-floor hotel window in August at the Hind Hotel in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

Sharing the funeral order of service with his followers, Josh wrote: "Said goodbye to this lovely man today. RIP OLLY. You'll be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting and knowing you." The program showed an image of Oliver smiling while a sunset was in the background.

A quote above the image from Harry Potter's Dumbledore read: "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light."

Josh followed up his post with another collage, writing: "Taken so soon, life can be so unfair. Simply the kindest soul. If you could of [sic] seen the turnout today mate you'd of known how loved you were."

Jaymi and Oliver had spent more than a decade together, and according to a 2023 social media post they were due to tie the knot on Tuesday.

On Monday, Jaymi shared an emotional message, showing an image of the pair's first meeting. "This is the first photo from the night I met you!, he penned. "Tomorrow should have been the happiest day of our lives, we should have been saying our vows and saying I do, but instead it will be the day I lay you to rest. I will never be ready, I miss you so much! I love you more than I've ever loved any one."

There was an inquest into Oliver's death earlier this month. It was adjourned until March 12 by the assistant coroner for Northamptonshire, Hassan Shah. He said the "provisional cause of death is head injuries, pending further tests". He went on to add the body had been released to his family.

Following the devastating news of Oliver's passing, a statement was released on behalf of Jaymi. It read: "Jaymi Hensley would like to thank all the love, messages and prayers sent to him over the loss of his beautiful fiancé Oliver Marmon.

"At this time the family would like the media to respect the privacy of Jaymi and Oliver's family while they mourn the loss of Oliver."
