A favourite could be next to leave the BBC series if a telling comment is proven right.

One star seemed to be preparing for a looming exit from the show ahead of the results. Sunday night will see two more couples face the dreaded dance-off, as the public vote is revealed.

But after all of the remaining couples performed for , one star seemed certain he would be in the bottom two and might go home. Comedian made a telling comment to host , sharing his theory he could be next for the chop.

Claudia brought up his theories, suggesting he had figured something out - just as viewers speculated he would be next to go. Chris told her "the maths was against" him and pro dance partner as he shared some interesting facts.

The couple were first to dance this Saturday, and they performed a Samba. As Chris shared the difficulty of the dance, he then dropped the worrying fact that out of the four exits so far, two of the celebs had performed this same dance.

Not only that, but out of the four dance-offs this series, three of them featured at least one pairing who were first to perform. With Chris and Dianne performing a Samba and performing first, he was preparing to be in the bottom two and to potentially leave the series.

Claudia had said to him after his scores came in: "Chris you're a clever boy, you've done the math." He replied: "Well we have lost four people so far this series.

"Two of them on Sambas and we have had four dance-offs. Three of them have had people in who went on first. So the maths is against us this week."

Meanwhile, the comedian also had a warning for the judges this week as he stayed in character post-performance. Chris was on hand to back his fellow stars as he warned the judges: "You lot tonight be nice to everybody, or I am gonna eat your brains."

Judge Motsi Mabuse quipped back: "I'm scared," as Craig Revel Horwood also mocked the warning. Meanwhile fans were worried about the comedian being the first to dance, claiming he was in the "death slot".

One fan took to X to share their worries: "They are putting Chris and Dianne first, hoping they will be in the dance off.!! Please vote for them. They are national treasures #Strictly." Another echoed: "Very concerned that dancing a samba and being first on means 'bottom two' for Chris this week. DO NOT MAKE THIS A REALITY. #scd #strictly."
