Another chimed in: "This looks amazing. "

Beauty fans who have already purchased the device - which only launched a few days ago - seem to be equally impressed, with no negative reviews and a 5-star rating across the board.

One ecstatic user exclaimed: "I'm really happy with this hairdryer! I love the fact that it folds it makes it really convenient for storing. All the attachments are amazing! The diffuser is brilliant for curling my hair, I love the flyaway smoother and the fact the brush attachment makes it easier than using my regular brush."

They added how rapid the drying time is saying: "The drying time is so fast, my hair is thick and usually takes ages to dry but with this hairdryer it cuts my drying time by half, so convenient for myself who leads a busy life, styling my hair has become so much easier!"

Another was "shocked" at how quickly it dried her "thick hair" - which is no doubt thanks to the styler's 0-100mph high-velocity airflow. They expressed: "I've used the frizz fighter mostly and also used the quick smooth brush, I have thick hair and [was] shocked how quickly my hair dried. I'm very impressed with this. Great features of controlling the heat and speed. The frizz-fighter tool is fantastic I had no strands of hair sticking up, my hair looked like I had straightened it, excellent hairdryer makes drying and styling my hair so much easier and quicker."

A third delighted customer raved about the product, praising its design: "Firstly I love this product it's so lightweight I love how it's easily manoeuvreable the attachments are great and really do make a difference, especially the shine attachment. I have curly hair and I highly recommend this product so easy to tame."

One style enthusiast was 'amazed' by the salon-quality results and said: "The rounded brush attachment means you can perfect the bouncy blow you get in a hairdresser in the comfort of your own home."

So far, shoppers have yet to report any issues or flaws with this product. However, if you're still unsure, we have a few alternatives that we rate highly. The BaByliss Air Power Pro, £150, is loved for its "light and easy to hold" finish that's "great for travel".

With additional attachments, a diffuser and styling nozzle, just like the new Shark tool, one beauty enthusiast raved about their experience with it and said: "My hair is long, thick and holds onto water, and it usually takes a good 10 minutes with my old favourite ghd Helios hair dryer to get my lengths completely dry but the BaByliss Air Power Pro halved that. I think it's the most powerful hair dryer I've ever used, blasting into the roots (using the styling nozzles does reduce the force somewhat though)."

They added: "Because it does such a good job at drying hair with its powerful air rather than heat, it doesn't feel as hot on the hair or head as some hair dryers certainly no singed scalps here. Elsewhere, bargain hunters can snap up Dyson's Supersonic dryer for just £259.99, slashed from £359.99, here.
