Hollywood couple Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor's unique living situation continues to intrigue fans as the couple, despite nearly a decade together, have yet to co-own a home.
The 49 year old 'American Horror Story' star opened up to 'Entertainment Tonight', clarifying, "'I have to clarify this. We don't live together meaning we don't own a home together, but we're together more often than we are not." Holland, 81, added that their relationship thrives on "a lot of variety " as they frequently visit each other's homes.
Despite not sharing a property, the bond between them is evident in their support for one another. With Holland's recent Emmy nomination for her performance in 'The Morning Show', Sarah was all set to cheer her on at the event, even though Holland didn't win against 'The Crown' actress Elizabeth Debicki.
Speaking to People, Sarah joked about her role for the evening: "This is the nominee, I'm here with the fan." She humorously insisted on her supportive nature, saying, "Just don't ever say that I'm not supportive and ready and willing and able, because it's not about me tonight as you can tell by the fan that I carry."
Holland has also spoken about the deep connection she shares with Sarah, revealing that they both have a keen interest in understanding people's characters. In her words: "I think we're interested in the same things about character in people." She elaborated on their shared curiosity about what drives individuals, which seems to be a cornerstone of their relationship.
Throughout her successful career, Sarah has managed to stay grounded and maintain close ties with her friends, showing that fame hasn't changed her core values. Holland gushed about her pal Sarah's dedication to her friendships, saying: "I mean, she has quite a number of really close friends.
"But for Sarah, having close friends means spending time with them, knowing what's going on with them, keeping in touch with them. And if anything is going on with anybody, she'll have them on her mind, and she'll check in late at night, 'How are you doing? How's it going? ' I mean, she's just the most thoughtful and attentive friend I've ever seen anybody be. She's really wonderful though."
