Managing Arsenal - Viktor Gyokeres transfer deal, sign Eberechi Eze, Ethan Nwaneri decision

The Gunnershave already made three new signings so far this summer, with Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard all moving to the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta and Co. have just under two months left before the transfer window closes, with several deals that could still be completed before the deadline.

Arsenal will also be looking ahead to their return to Premier League action where they will face Manchester United on the opening day of the campaign on August 17.

Agree Gyokeres deal

What has been the dominant talking point around Arsenal's transfer business this summer has been the chances of bringing a striker to the club.

Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres has emerged as the primary target for the Gunners this summer as talks continue over a deal for the Sweden international.

Personal terms are not thought to be a problem, but Arsenal still need to agree on a fee with Sporting before a deal can proceed.

As a result, getting an agreement wrapped up for Gyokeres to move to the Emirates will be one of the first decisions needing to be made at Arsenal this summer.

Agree Nwaneri contract

Away from the topic of new signings and Arsenal will have some contract negotiations to sort out this summer.

Ethan Nwaneri is out of contract at the end of next season, meaning speculation is only going to intensify around the 18-year-old's future.

Arsenal will not want to let one of their most talented youth prospects leave the club next year, so agreeing a new contract for Nwaneri should be near the top of the to-do list over the next few weeks.

Strengthen the forward line

Even though Arsenal may go on to sign Gyokeres this summer, it's clear that reinforcements are needed in the final third.

Chelsea's Noni Madueke and Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze have both been heavily linked with moves to Arsenal in recent days.

Signing both players would certainly give the much-needed quality and depth to the forward line that Arsenal lacked at times last term. As a result, agreeing deals for Madueke and Eze would be wise to get over the line over the next couple of months.
