MAFS star emotional as show's first deaf groom 'goes above and beyond' days after tying the knot

Married At First Sight returns tonight with the show's first-ever deaf groom Ross McCarthy and his wife Sacha Jones enjoying their honeymoon.

Sacha, who hails from Birmingham, and Ross, a former player at Everton Deaf football club, immediately clicked when she walked down the aisle to meet her husband for the very first time. Sacha even revealed she knows a little bit of sign language, which delighted Ross.

She was completely accepting when he opened up about his daughter and she couldn't wait to share, in sign language, that she owned pets. Following their perfect wedding, which came with one minor hiccup about her celibacy, they jetted off to a sunny honeymoon where they'll have a couple of days to grow closer and learn a lot more about each other.

In a teaser clip shared exclusively with The Mirror, Sacha, 29, is in awe as she praises him for 'going above and beyond' for her. The clip starts with Ross teaching her some sign language before it cuts to a giddy Sacha talking to the camera about her appreciation for him.

She says: "Ross goes above and beyond for me. He literally can't do more. It's a crazy thing that I met this man less than a week ago and now we're on our honeymoon and things are going really well. Look, I could have never predicted this." Back at the dinner table, Sacha tells Ross: "I think we're perfect," to which Ross says: "I know," and laughs.

He then reveals he has a surprise for his new wife, 'stressing' her about what it can be. She is immediately in awe when he returns to give her a gorgeous bouquet of flowers before giving her a quick peck." He even wrote her a sweet card.

It reads: "Sacha, this honeymoon has been amazing. The way you've communicated with me has been amazing and I am grateful for your support. You make me smile and every single minute I spend with you, you make me a happy man. I wouldn't change you for the world."

She calls him 'cute' for writing her a letter but reminds him that he shouldn't have to 'thank her' as 'it's just the way it should be' and 'it's not an effort for her'. Leaning on the table, she tells him: "I really appreciate everything you do for me, like these little things mean a lot to me."

The clip ends with her gazing lovingly at her new husband as they enjoy the rest of their romantic dinner.
