Former Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall will be kicking off the new series of Later… with Jools Holland later this month.

The singer – who was in one of the biggest-selling girl groups of all time – will make her solo TV debut when the show returns on October 19. Thirlwall, 31, whose stage name is JADE, will perform her breakout solo record Angel of My Dreams, which samples Sandie Shaw’s 1967 Eurovision winner Puppet On A String, and her upcoming second single, Fantasy.

It is two years since Thirlwall and fellow Little Mix stars Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 32, and Perrie Edwards, 31, said the group was taking a break. With ex-member Jesy Nelson, 33, the group, formed on The X Factor in 2011, sold over 60 million records and won three Brit Awards.
