Emmerdale fans think a murder twist will be revealed after a suspicious scene during Wednesday's episode, as a character died.
Helen Fox, the mother of Ruby Miligan, was killed off on the ITV soap after just one episode. Caleb Miligan had had a showdown with his wife's mum on Tuesday after she kept calling him.
Initially, after years of being estranged, she called daughter Ruby's phone but Caleb answered. He blocked the number and didn't tell Ruby, leading to Helen calling Caleb instead.
He learned she was dying and did not have long to live, but he still refused to let her see Ruby. He demanded £100k in exchange for telling the Ruby the truth, with Helen wanting to make amends before she passed away.
It seems as though Helen had something to tell Ruby, with various hints that something needed to be said. Sadly Helen died before Ruby got the chance to see her, with her unable to find out why she waited until now to reach out.

Caleb was spotted at the hospital around the time Helen was confirmed to have died, clearly heading back after his money deal. But while it seems as though he had just arrived, some fans were convinced a killer twist was on the cards.
Despite it being known Helen was terminally ill, some viewers couldn't help but question if Caleb killed her. They wondered if she had dirt on him that he knew would be leaked to Ruby, and whether he killed her at the hospital to stop her seeing her daughter.
While this is unlikely given Helen was dying and Caleb hadn't been there, some fans could not shake the feeling Caleb was up to something. One fan posted: "Why do I get feeling that Caleb is behind her mum dying?" Another said: "Caleb killed her," as a third added: "Wonder if Caleb killed Ruby’s mum?"
