Craig Revel Horwood gives his verdict on Pete Wicks' Strictly journey

judge Craig Revel Horwood has given his verdict on dance journey following a tough critique over the weekend.

Craig, 59, donned a sparkly striped suit at the on Monday night.

He paired it with a black shirt and dark trousers as red carpet host Pete interviewed celebs alongside his reality pal .

Speaking to the , Craig revealed he has high hopes for Pete's Strictly journey.

"Pete is doing great," he says.

"He had a difficult dance last week but thankfully he's got through that and is out the other side. I think he'll do great things."

Pete is partnered with Jowita Przystał as the pair danced a Rumba live on Saturday night.

As he gave his verdict, Craig told the pair: "And as for the lifts, that is totally illegal.

"There were two lifts. One foot should remain on the floor at all times. Of course, a professional would be marked down for that. I think even a disqualification darling, because I think you should follow the rules."

Motsi Mabuse was quick to jump in to say they would never disqualify them. Craig later added: "I do like seeing how committed you are to this. I can see very clearly you have been studying and studying and studying."

Discussing Strictly further, Craig said he's "enjoyed every minute" of the new season so far, jokingly adding that he "loves Chris answering me back every time".

Speaking about the Pride of Britain Awards 2024, Craig adds: "People do extraordinary things that go unnoticed all the time so it's great to get to come to an event like this and acknowledge all the amazing things they have done."

Pete and Jowita have been plagued with romance rumours since the new Strictly season began, but it appears the ex-TOWIE star put an end to that last night.

Pete was spotted sharing a kiss at the Red Bar of London's Grovesnor House Hotel with Maura Higgins.

The pair have been rumoured to be dating, but the that the pair appear to be more than friends.

’s Maura, 33, and TOWIE’s Pete, 36, were first seen sharing a kiss in August, outside the Broadwick Hotel in Soho, but the pair have poked fun at the gossip - with Maura even wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with the photograph and a slogan which read: “We can’t be friends.”

Maura had been cheering on Pete and his friend Sam Thompson, as they recorded their Staying Relevant podcast, live together at Hammersmith Apollo.

Earlier this week, they shared a TikTok video of them practising dance moves together, as Pete continues in Strictly Come Dancing.
