Arsenalare still in the market to sign a left-sided forward this summer, but a deal will require either Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli to depart, it has been claimed.
Andrea Bertaand Mikel Artetahave been working hard to get business done, as the Gunners look to mount another Premier League title challenge. Three players have come through the Emirates Stadium doors so far, with Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard making the move.
More are expected to follow. Noni Madueke is closing in on a £52million switch from Chelsea, while Viktor Gyokeres and Cristhian Mosquera are anticipated to sign from Sporting CP and Valencia. The Gunners are working on a £63.8m deal for Gyokeres, while Mosquera is on course to arrive for £17m.

That would make it six first-team incoming transfers, and while there is a chance Arsenal might to add a seventh in the form of a left-sided attacker, the Gunners are going to need to sell first.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Arsenal still hold a genuine interest in Rodrygo, Anthony Gordon and Rafael Leao, but a move for any of them will require either Trossard or Martinelli to depart.
Rodrygo has been at the centre of transfer speculation for most of the summer, as rumours continue to circulate surrounding his Real Madrid future. Meanwhile, Arsenal have long been admirers of Newcastle United's Gordon and AC Milan's Leao.
But if the Gunners want to push ahead to sign either of the left-sided trio, then Trossard or Martinelli are going to have to leave. Both players have been important during the last couple of years.
Trossard has attracted interest from Bayern Munich and Fenerbahce this summer. The 30-year-old scored 10 goals and provided 10 assists in 56 appearances for Arsenal, but could be sold to free up space and room.
Reports have suggested that it's Fenerbahce who are leading the race, however, after talks with Jose Mourinho, who was reportedly able to convince Trossard of his vision and project.
Trossard is said to have agreed personal terms on a £20m move to the Super Lig outfit. It would be another statement of intent from Fenerbahce, who have signed Jhon Duran and Archie Brown already this summer, while Sofyan Amrabat has made his loan move permanent. Former Aston Villa loanee Marco Asensio is expected to be the next signed.
As for Martinelli, Bayern reportedly expressed an interest in signing him last month. The 24-year-old chipped in with 10 goals and six assists in 51 appearances last season, and has just two years left on his contract.
