A Place in the Sun buyers tell host 'sorry to disappoint you' as they make major decision about dream home

A Place in the Sun presenter Jasmine Harman was left frustrated during the latest episode, as she received some rather disappointing news regarding a couple's dream home.

During Monday's show (November 11), Jasmine was back in Spain with Barry and Angela. The house hunters had a hefty budget of £225,000 and were looking for a spectacular home in Benidorm.

After getting off to a rocky start in their search, with Barry and Angela demanding more outside space and fewer neighbours, Jasmine had her work cut out. But things quickly changed when she showcased her last property on her list to Barry and Anegla, which clearly bowled them over.

The stunning four-bed property included a guest annexe and a bar. Despite being priced outside their budget at £275,424, Angela and Barry were smitten and ready to pay the extra amount.

After seeing the lavish pool and the acres of land included, a gobsmacked Angela said, "I can't believe I feel like this!" Witnessing their positive reaction, Jasmine was evidently pleased that she had ticked all of Angela and Barry's boxes.

With spirits now at an all-time high, Jasmine gave the pair some time to reflect before they decided whether to make an offer. However, due to Barry and Angela's evident willingness, the couple appeared to assure the host that the four-bedroom Spanish villa was their dream home.

However, despite the conclusive reaction, a deal wasn't in sight, and the couple had to break the news to Jasmine. Angela started off by saying: " We're 99 percent sure that we are going to put an offer in but I'm really sorry to disappoint, not today."

Angela went on to explain that they wanted to explore the area before they made their big decision. Insisting that the fifth property was still their dream home, the pair said they wanted to discover more before they put their money on the table.

Taken aback by their stance, Jasmine still respected their choice. But viewers at home weren't convinced.

One viewer said: "Should of got it when they Liked it so much." Another penned: "I think I have only ever seen 1 episode where they actually end up buying a property...." (sic)

A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 4pm on Channel 4.
